Приветствую всех!

Суть вот в чем, есть RAID10 из 24-х SATA 6Гб/с дисков.
Скорости чтения и записи, как бы сказать, странные.

Скорость записи, файла еще не существует:

скорость записи, запускаем dd снова, не удаляя файл:

удаляем файл и вновь запускаем dd:

Теперь чтение, читаем какой-то рандомный файл  с ФС первый раз:

1GB - это слишком мало, сказывается кэширование ОС.
Стоит посмотреть на флаг direct (а может, и noatime).
Ну и, я уже говорил, 6 серия адаптеков немного странная.

А про ST3000DM001 расскажет VanDyke, но, наверное, в курилке.

кто же меряет скорость через dd. да еще и без directio. используй fio.
